The Welch MPC 303 E is a compact, oil-free chemical-duty diaphragm vacuum pump designed for demanding laboratory and industrial applications. The device is a dry-running diaphragm vacuum pump , by increasing and decreasing the displacement of the oscillating membrane in the pump head, gases are drawn in, compressed and expelled. The device is suitable for conveying neutral gaseous media and for use in laboratories and industry when working in rough vacuum conditions. All MPC wetted parts, including the connection head/pump head , are made from PTFE with carbon-fiber reinforcing, with PTFE vacuum hoses, PEEK valves, EPDM seals, and an elastomer + PTFE layer diaphragm. This fully fluoropolymer-lined flow path delivers reliable resistance against aggressive solvents and acidic vapors encountered in chemistry and pharmaceutical laboratories.
The oil-free drive system provides low maintenance with long diaphragm life, while an integrated gas ballast valve helps inhibit condensation of vapors in the pump.
The pump ships in two voltage configurations — 230V 50/60Hz (415711) and 115V 50/60Hz (415711-01) — to suit global laboratory environments
