The Welch MPC 903 Z delivers an outstanding combination of high pumping speed and reliable deep vacuum in a 4-head, two-stage chemical-duty platform. The MPC 903 Z features 4 heads / 2 stages with Gen 3 head technology, producing a free air capacity of 110 lpm @60Hz / 100 lpm @50Hz with an ultimate pressure of 5 mbar / 3.8 Torr.
This two-stage configuration strikes the optimal balance between flow volume and vacuum depth, making the MPC 903 Z well suited for vacuum distillation, vacuum filtration, and handling aggressive vapors. Its large pumping capacity makes it a preferred choice for multi-station laboratory setups, larger-scale evaporation systems, and applications requiring continuous solvent vapor removal.
The device is a dry-running diaphragm vacuum pump, suitable for conveying neutral gaseous media and for use in laboratories and industry when working in rough vacuum conditions.Wetted materials include a PTFE with carbon-fiber reinforced pump head, PTFE vacuum hoses, PEEK valves, EPDM seals, and a PTFE-coated elastomer diaphragm, ensuring full chemical compatibility with aggressive solvents and acids.
