Maximum-Flow Single-Stage Chemical-Duty Diaphragm Pump
The Welch MPC 1203 E is the highest-flow model in the 4-head standalone MPC series, engineered for laboratories and industrial processes that require maximum volumetric throughput with full chemical resistance. The MPC 1203 E features 4 heads / 1 stage (single-stage configuration) with Gen 3 head technology, delivering a free air capacity of 133 lpm @50Hz with an ultimate pressure of 55 mbar / 40 Torr.
The single-stage design of the MPC 1203 E prioritizes maximum flow, making it ideal for vacuum filtration, vacuum distillation, vacuum drying, and compressing neutral and aggressive gases and vapors. It is particularly suited for multi-position filtration manifolds, parallel evaporation systems, and industrial laboratory environments requiring sustained high-volume vacuum.
The device is driven by an AC motor and consists of a pumping unit with four pump heads. It is equipped with a gas ballast — when opened, ambient air is sucked into the chamber at the last stage to prevent the formation of condensate in the pump delivery area in applications with vapors.Wetted parts include a PTFE with carbon-fiber reinforced pump head, PTFE vacuum hoses, PEEK valves, EPDM seals, and a PTFE-coated elastomer diaphragm — delivering full chemical resistance against the broadest range of aggressive media. All models share identical main dimensions (W ≤ 250 mm, D ≤ 390 mm, H ≤ 185 mm), sound pressure ≤ 44 dB(A), IP54/40 protection class, and operating temperature range +10...+40°C.
Available in 230V 50/60Hz (415741) and 115V 50/60Hz (415741-01).
