High-Flow Single-Stage Chemical-Duty Diaphragm Pump
The Welch MPC 603 E is a chemically resistant diaphragm vacuum pump suitable for vacuum filtration, vacuum distillation, vacuum drying, and compressing neutral and aggressive gases and vapors according to the resistance of the indicated materials. It includes an integral gas ballast valve to help clear condensate build-up during processes. The MPC 603 E features 2 heads / 1 stage (single-stage configuration) with Gen 3 head technology, delivering a free air capacity of 73 lpm @60Hz / 66 lpm @50Hz and an ultimate pressure of 55 mbar / 40 Torr. This single-stage design maximizes volumetric flow, making the MPC 603 E ideal for applications that require high throughput rather than deep vacuum. Wetted parts include a PTFE with carbon-fiber reinforced pump head, PTFE vacuum hoses, PEEK valves, EPDM seals, and a PTFE-coated elastomer diaphragm, providing robust chemical resistance against a wide range of solvents, acids, and corrosive vapors. The oil-free operation ensures a clean workplace environment, low maintenance costs, and long diaphragm service life.
