Compact Freeze Dryer Vacuum System
The Welch Freeze Dryer Vacuum System is effective for freeze drying samples containing harsh chemicals such as TFA, acetonitrile, HBr, and others. While problematic chemicals rapidly compromise performance and product life of other vacuum pumps, the Welch Freeze Dryer System defends against chemical attack through the use of:
- Integrated Oil Maintenance - The oil filtration system continually neutralizes acids and removes solid reaction products from the oil.
- Large Oil System Capacity - The oil system holds 1.3 liters of oil, providing a substantial dilution of contaminents to extend the oil's useful life and protect critical pump components.
- Welch Gold Oil - This highly refined synthetic hydrocarbon oil does not contain the aromatic compounds and sulfur associated with the varnishing, sludging, and carbon buildup that quickly compromise most oils exposed to corrosives. Gold oil provides top lubrication for a maximum period of time - in a tough chemical environment.
The Welch Freeze Dryer System utilizes a powerful deep vacuum pump to maximize freeze dryer efficacy. The 115V pump operates at 173 L/min.
